My current occupation is an Ontario lawyer practicing real estate law. My passion is to assist clients in their legal endeavors and develop business initiatives.

 

What attracted you to the BLPT MBA Program at DeGroote?

The BLPT MBA Program is a preferred mode of learning for students to connect with faculty members and peers in-person during weekend residencies while having the flexibility to learn online according to individual commitments.

 

What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience?

One of my highlights at DeGroote is the ability to learn with a professional cohort. Each instructor and student brings a level of expertise from various backgrounds. The diversity of skills help to enhance class quality and discussions.

 

What surprised you about your experience at DeGroote?

How has this program impacted your career?

This program has broadened my understanding of business concepts and how they can be applied strategically in real-life scenarios. The MBA program holistically develops my career personally and professionally with practical knowledge and networking opportunities.

 

What advice do you have for someone looking to pursue their MBA while continuing to work full-time?

An advice would be on time management and organization skills. With family and full-time work commitments, the ability to balance everything is important to succeed in the program. Students are encouraged to set sufficient time for both individual and group work.
